Bar turning produces swarf, spent cutting fluids and metal offcuts. We manage them properly, recycle them and cut their impact. No empty pledges — measurable facts on the shop floor.
Sustainability in a bar-turning workshop isn't settled with statements; it's settled with the day-to-day handling of what the process produces. Every turning operation leaves metal swarf, used cutting fluids and material offcuts that have to be treated correctly. At Talleres Floper we work with authorised waste operators, separate waste streams by material and recover the metal we produce. It's the same rigour we apply to quality, extended to our environmental responsibility.

Responsible management of swarf and cutting fluids
We collect and store swarf and spent cutting fluids separately and hand them over to authorised waste operators. We prevent discharge and keep full traceability of every removal.

Metal recycling
Surplus stainless steel, brass and aluminium are recovered and fed back into the metal cycle. Material isn't scrapped — it returns to the value chain as raw material.

Process efficiency
We optimise machining programs and bar usage to reduce scrap, electricity consumption and cutting-fluid use. Generating less waste is the most effective way to cut impact.

Environmental compliance
We operate in line with current environmental regulations on industrial waste and its management. The same control and traceability framework as our ISO 9001:2015 system backs this responsibility.
